What is it going to take for the media to see that they are putting a bad influence over teenagers and how they behave? This is a very important issue, especially to me. These reality television shows and shows that have teen drinking, teen smoking, and teen pregnancy shown in them are terrible for teenagers and young children to watch. It’s all about the money when it comes to the media. They don’t care about teenagers and how it’s affecting them. I chose this topic because I believe that it is a very serious and important topic that needs to be addressed. I have seen some of these bad television shows such as shows on MTV and The Secret Life Of The American Teenager and they are totally inappropriate, even for adults. I would not allow my thirteen year old brother watch these shows. My parents have done a great job on things like this by blocking MTV on our television. They are good parents and they don’t want their kids to be exposed to such inappropriate things. This issue needs to be put to a stop.
I agree with your opinion.! This is a very debatable topic. Television in the 21st century have changed dramatically over the last twenty years. I also found a website that may help you on your topic about how children are affected and the effect of this could be children killing other people at a young age.
